Prince Young is a Canadian R&B artist who was born in Toronto’s Rexdale area but grew up mostly in the Jane and Finch area. He grew up as a kid listening to R&B artists like Usher Raymond, Luther Vandross and Michael Jackson. He got most of his influences and ideas of the genre from the style and voices of these artists. He describes Usher Raymond IV single “You Make Me Wanna” on his second album “My Way and others like “Nice and slow” an asset that makes him want to make timeless music as well. Prince Young is a hard working artist striving to get his own product on the market. He’s an intelligent business man motivated to do what he does best which is singing and entertaining.
Prince Young was featured on a record called “I KNOW” with rapper Jimmy King which they released at the ending of Summer 2010 on YouTube which got over 3000 Hit’s + Downloads which not bad for a local artist that’s just getting started.. It’s been getting a lot of great review and will hit the air waves very soon.
