Jacynthe has released four albums which have produced five number 1 hits in Quebec, five top-fourty successes in Canada including a Top-10 hit Canada-wide on CHR and Hot AC Radio with ”Look Who`s Crying Now”.
Jacynthe became one of the most recognized francophone/english pop-singers in the 1990s, singing partly french and english. On October 26, 1999, Entends-Tu Mon Coeur was released with BMG Canada Ltd. The same year, she was nominated for a JUNO “Dance Music Album of the Year,” award, CMA Award and the following year as “Female Artist of the Year” at Le Gala de l’ADISQ. Thanks to the English-language versions of songs like “Give It Up” (recorded with its original composer Harry Casey of KC & The Sunshine Band) and “One More Time,” she was noticed in both Toronto and Vancouver and fell into high-demand on the talk show and Canadian music station circuits (MuchMusic, YTV, City TV, etc.).
Furthermore in late 1999, Jacynthe released I Got What It Takes which included her hit singles remixed and released with Sony Music Canada. October 17, 2000, Jacynthe released a Christmas Album with BMG Canada Ltd., the title being 12 – 25.
Finally, September 30, 2003, Jacynthe released and english album Seize The Day with hits such as Look Who`s Crying Now, Need You Now, Seize The Day with Universal Music Group. She is currently working on releasing a fifth album April 26, 2011 and her first single Don`t Touch Those Faders is available to view and purchase at http://itunes.apple.com/us/artist/jacynthe/id4317815.
