Lil JaXe (9 PM), Tatyana D’Voce (3:40-3:50), JD Era and so much more at the 2012 Youth Day in Toronto Yonge-Dundas Square

Founded in 2007, Youth Day was created to encourage and engage Youth into Arts: Music,  Dance, Art and Photography and to celebrate their achievements by enabling public showcases. Last year Youth Day welcomed Karl Wolf and 30,000 attendees were present.

July  22, 2012, hundreds of volunteers,  youth performers (ages 14-24) & mentor headliners as part of the production, are like-minded in the belief of finding a passion and release in the arts will be present in the heart of downtown Toronto at Yonge-Dundas Square. Over 10 hours outdoor Event from 11:30am to 10pm and is a free non-profitable organization expecting over 30,000 attendees or more this year. With spceicial guest will MC the event – including Tre Armstrong of So You Think You Can Dance Canada, Flow 93.5 radio personality, Luke Aaron, and Liona Boyd! See Lil JaXe at 9 PM, Tatyana D’Voce at 3:40-3:50, JD Era performing for this youthful event.

A diversity of 2D, 3D, audience interactive and live art and photography. Featuring a variety of styles of youth and mentor artist work. Sponsored by The Al Green Gallery and Curator, Lindy Green. Kids Corner on Yonge St with Activities for kids under 12 including a colouring area, face painting, and an inflatable jumping castle. A Live Fashion Show in motion, featuring youth and mentor designers showcasing a variety of styles for all ages, sizes, and backgrounds. Yonge St Closure has over 30 vendors, of a variety of types, will be lined on Yonge St to accommodate the festival attendees.

Youth Day World Record Attempt as they set records in 2010 and 2011 and are planning for a 3rd in 2012. A world record will be attempted of the largest audience participation to simultaneously dance “…..” (TBA). Registration will occur all day with the final attempt and results announcement at 8:PM at Youth Day.

Youth Day Special Edition T-Shirts will be available at YD 2012 to support the initiative and purchase a t-shirt. Tons of events leading up to Youth Day 2012! Come out to one of the YD Event Series Benefit events including Shows, a Casual Pool Hall Night, and their Press Conferences.
