Power2Gether New Logo | Beyond The Rack Anti Bullying & Empowering Movement | Got Your Back Campaign

Sticks and stones may break your bones … but words can hurt more.

In honor of Anti-Bullying Awareness week, Beyond the Rack and Canada’s newest Anti-Bullying & Empowering Movement Power2Gether have joined forces to unite youths to come together and help make cruelty in schools a thing of the past

Power2Gether’s goal is to ensure youths are inspired to stick together and embrace their differences. In a cyber-age where it’s extremely easy for young people to attack one another, Power2Gether is determined to create a better tomorrow for all those affected by bullying.

Join the movement and take a stand against bullying with the purchase of a bracelet or tee from our exclusive event. A portion of the proceeds will be donated in support of Power2Gether Foundation and the Amanda Todd Legacy and Memorial Fund.

We’re sure you’ve heard of the heartbreaking Amanda Todd story.  Amanda was a wonderful girl who thought her only hope was to take her own life. We’d love for young people across the nation to know it doesn’t have to come to that and that there are other people who share the same struggles.  Whether you’re a parent, a student, or a concerned citizen, you can make a difference!

About Power2Gether

The Power2Gether is a project to initiate anti-bullying and tolerance progress within schools through monthly events including initiatives and activities in order to create a more friendly and bully-free environment for our youth. Power2Gether power band is a visual symbol to help raise awareness of this collective effort and creating a unified front; a powerful and recognizable tool in the form of an identity bracelet with charms that symbolize the strength behind our new community. The collectitble and exchangeable magnetic charms found on the power band are reflecting inspiring words of empowerment. Aimed at our youth, these words are meant as reminders that there is much more to life and how worthy we each are. Unfortunately, we can’t repair the damages that have been done in the past, but we can definately avoid repeating them in the future.

Many Kids today are afraid of being bullied at school, while trying to achieve a good education, that’s not fair…
Many Adults are also being bullied either in a professional environment or on the streets and its not right…

We’ve heard many scenarios where youth made up excuses to stay home in fear of facing the school bully. Another scenario youth believing in suicide to put an end to their torment by bullies. Neither of these scenarios are acceptable and our society cannot stand by and  watch the numbers of youth being victimized grow.

We need to show youth WE CARE and that people are there to listen and take immediate action. Some kids might think there is no-on to talk to or no-one who listens, but we must march together as a UNITED COMMUNITY to be the hope they need to overcome these fears. Today we form a new community “BULLYING NEEDS TO STOP.”
